Texas A&M International University dropped two matches at the Southwestern Invitational on Friday afternoon. Host Southwestern University swept TAMIU 3-0 before former Red River Athletic Conference rival Houston Baptist dealt the Dustdevils a 3-1 defeat. Stats from the matches are not immediately available.

TAMIU (8-18 overall) will play two tournament matches on Saturday. The Dustdevils will play Austin College at noon before facing Texas Wesleyan at 2:30 p.m.
