Texas A&M International University senior middle blocker Nicole Gipson has been named Heartland Conference Offensive Player of the Week for matches played Oct. 15-22.

Gipson finished with 37 kills, a .463 hitting percentage and eight blocks in matches against Incarnate Word and St. Mary's. She notched 23 kills and four blocks in a three-game sweep over St. Mary's on Saturday.

Gipson ranks second on the squad this season with 303 kills and 100 blocks. She ranks first on the TAMIU career in both categories, with 708 kills and 266 blocks.
