Texas A&M International University has been picked fourth in the Heartland Conference preseason volleyball poll. The poll is determined by a vote of conference head coaches and sports information directors.

TAMIU finished fourth in the final Heartland Conference standings last season. The Dustdevils then defeated UT-Permian Basin in the conference tournament semifinals before losing to Incarnate Word in the championship match. TAMIU returns five starters and six letterwinners from last year's squad.
