Final Stats

Newman swept Texas A&M International University 3-0 in Heartland Conference action on Thursday night at the Kinesiology & Convocation Building on campus. The result extended TAMIU's losing streak to six matches.

Alexandria Montemayor led the squad with 10 kills and Isela Flores recorded a team-high 12 digs.

TAMIU (3-17, 0-6 Heartland) returns to action on Saturday with a home match against Oklahoma Panhandle State. First serve is scheduled for noon.
