Sept. 20, 2008 Dallas Baptist defeated Texas A&M International University 3-1 in Heartland Conference action on Saturday afternoon in Dallas. TAMIU won the opening set 25-20 before losing 20-25, 14-15, 19-25. Brittany Smith led TAMIU (2-11, 0-2 Heartland) with 15 kills on 31 attempts and five blocks. Madison Mojica finished with a team-high nine digs. TAMIU returns to action on Tuesday night with a non-conference contest at Texas A&M-Kingsville. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m. |
