Final Stats

UT-Permian Basin defeated Texas A&M International University in four games (26-24, 25-22, 22-25, 25-19) on Thursday night in Odessa. The contest was the Heartland Conference opener for both teams.

Nicole Gipson notched 15 kills and three blocks for TAMIU (2-10, 0-1 Heartland). Madison Mojica contributed a team-high 24 digs and Danielle Gilley finished with a team-high 31 assists.

TAMIU remains on the road for Saturday's conference contest at Dallas Baptist. First serve is scheduled for 2 p.m.
