Final Stats

UT-Permian Basin defeated Texas A&M International in five games (30-27, 22-30, 27-30, 30-25, 15-7) on Thursday night at the TAMIU Kinesiology & Convocation Building. It was the Heartland Conference opener for both teams.

Amithy Henry led UTPB (5-8, 1-0 Heartland) with 27 kills and 15 digs. Mica Lamprecht contributed 20 kills and 14 digs for the Falcons while Britney McCutchen notched 49 assists.

Four Dutsdevils finished with double-figure kill totals, with Ladys Montaño leading the way with 20 kills. Madison Mojica finished with a team-high 24 digs and Mary Koch contributed 55 assists for TAMIU.

TAMIU (0-7, 0-1) will return to action with a home contest against Heartland foe Dallas Baptist on Saturday. First serve is scheduled for 2 p.m.
