Final Stats

Texas A&M International University dropped two matches at the Tarleton State Invitational on Saturday. Texas Woman's defeated TAMIU 3-1 in the early match before host Tarleton State swept the Dustdevils 3-0 in the tournament finale.

Senior Brittany Smith turned in a strong effort in the loss to TWU, notching 16 kills and four blocks against the Pioneers. Freshman Isela Flores contributed five kills and 15 digs in the loss to Tarleton State.

TAMIU (2-9 overall) will open Heartland Conference play next weekend with a trip to North Texas. The Dustdevils will play at UT-Permian Basin on Thursday and Dallas Baptist on Saturday.
