Desiree Arredondo

Desiree Arredondo enters her first season as an assistant coach at Texas A&M International University after concluding a record-setting career for the Dustdevils last season. A four-year starter, she ranks as the school career leader in games played, assists, digs and service aces.

Arredondo earned All-Conference honors as setter all four seasons during her playing career. She was a first-team All-Red River Athletic Conference pick as a junior and second-team All-Heartland Conference selection as a senior.

A graduate of East Central High School in San Antonio, Arredondo has completed course work for a bachelor's in fitness and sports with a minor in English. She aspires to a career as a high school volleyball coach and teacher.
