Texas A&M International University's softball program will conclude fall practice with a Maroon and Black intersquad scrimmage on Saturday at the Gateway Softball Field off of Hillside. First pitch is scheduled for 11 a.m.

No admission will be charged to attend the scrimmage and TAMIU head coach Lee Dobbins says he invites everyone out to meet the team.

"We had a solid fall and I would encourage everyone to come out and get a preview of what's coming next spring," Dobbins said.

TAMIU's inaugural softball season gets started on Feb. 1-3, 2008 at the St. Mary's Invitational. The Dustdevils first home game will be a doubleheader against Schreiner on Feb. 20.
