Nov. 4, 2007 St. Edward's shutout Texas A&M International University 4-0 in Heartland Conference action on Sunday afternoon at Dustdevil Field. It was the regular season finale for both teams. SEU (17-3, 11-1 Heartland) scored three goals within a six minute span during the first half to build an insurmountable 3-0 lead. Kristen Gascoyne scored in the 35th and 36th minutes with Claire Cella adding an unassisted goal in the 40th minute. St. Edward's outshot the Dustdevils 19-9 with a 14-5 edge in shots on goal. Mary Jo Hall finished with eight saves for TAMIU (2-15-1, 1-10-1). |
