Sept. 28, 2007 Midwestern State rolled past Texas A&M International University 7-0 in non-conference women's soccer action on Friday afternoon at Dustdevil Field. MSU outshot TAMIU 26-6 in the decisive win. Six players scored for MSU (6-1-2), with freshman Brandy O'Neal leading the way with two goals. Brittany Burney and Lauren Smith contributed one goal and one assist apiece for the Mustangs. TAMU (1-7) returns to Heartland Conference play with a home game against Newman on Sunday. Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. at Dustdevil Field. |
