Victor Manrique Position: Assistant Coach

Victor Manrique enters his sixth season as an assistant coach with TAMIU's women's soccer team. Despite the demands of being a full-time restaurateur he has proven to be an invaluable asset for the Dustdevils..

Manrique is a graduate of Nixon High School, where he played soccer and baseball. He continues to play soccer while also gaining coaching experience at the adult and youth levels.

As a player, Manrique was the leading scorer in the Laredo International Soccer League one year. He currently plays for the Laredo Salsa's in the Laredo Soccer Association.

Manrique is married to Griselda Solis Manrique. The couple has a son, Aaron Alexander (12), and a daughter, Alyssa Victoria (8).
