Texas A&M International University's golf teams have completed day one action at the Heartland Conference Champions. The event is being hosted by St. Mary's at the Slick Rock Golf Course at the Horeshoe Bay Resort.

The men are in eighth place with a 36-hole score of 641 and the women are in seventh place with a 18-hole tally of 462. Andrés Maymi led the Dustdevil men with rounds of 79 and 70 and Bianca Vidaurri led the TAMIU women with a round of 89.

The tournament will conclude on Tuesday with 18 holes apiece for the men and women.
