Texas A&M International University is in ninth place after the first round of the 2010 Heartland Conference Championship. The Dustdevils carded an opening round of 411, nine strokes behind eight place Oklahoma Panhandle State.

Esther Cavazos (99) is tied for 36th place and Alicia Caballero (101) is in 39th place in the individual standings. The final round of the tournament will be played on Tuesday at Rose Creek Creek Golf Club in Edmond, Okla.
