The second Jack Brown Memorial Tournament concluded on Tuesday under sunny skies at the Laredo Country Club. UT-Brownsville claims first place in the team standing on the women's side after recording steady rounds of 352 and 357 to finish the 36-hole tournament at 709 strokes.

April Martínez of UTB finished first in the individual standings after carding a 78-81 (159). She finished 11 strokes ahead of the second place finisher, Incarnate Word's Audrey Sitterly.

Bianca Vidaurri was TAMIU's top finisher. She placed sixth with a 182 (92-90).

TAMIU will return to action next Monday and Tuesday at the Schreiner Invitational.
