Texas A&M International University junior Jasmine June has been named Heartland Conference Player of the Week for games played Nov. 12-18. June is a native of New Orleans, La. who transferred to TAMIU after playing two seasons at Texas A&M-Kingsville.

June averaged 21.0 points and 9.0 rebounds to lead TAMIU to a split in its first two games on the season. She made 13 of 23 field goal attempts while also totaling eight assists and five steals. June contributed 24 points and nine rebounds in a five-point loss to NAIA power Wayland Baptist on Saturday night.
