Texas A&M International University is seeded sixth in the Heartland Conference Tournament, which will be hosted by St. Mary's University on Thursday through Saturday at Bill Greehey Arena in San Antonio.

TAMIU will play UT-Permian Basin in a quarterfinal round game at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. UTPB swept the Dustdevils in the regular season, winning 99-77 in Odessa and 58-55 in Laredo.

This year marks TAMIU's second straight trip to the Heartland Conference Tournament. Last year the third-seeded Dustdevils fell to second-seeded Incarnate Word in the semifinal round.
