Final Stats

Harding defeated Texas A&M International University 93-45 on Wednesday afternoon in second day action at the Houston Baptist Classic. TAMIU opened the Classic with a 60-58 loss to host Houston Baptist on Tuesday afternoon.

Harding (6-2) led 39-20 at halftime with TAMIU (3-4) getting no closer than 17 points in the second half. The Lady Bisons opened the second half with a 17-4 run to build an insurmountable 56-24 lead at the 14:12 mark.

Nicole Gipson contributed her second straight double-double, finishing with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Jasmine June contributed 13 points and seven rebounds to the Dustdevil cause.

TAMIU will take a 12 day break before returning to action on Dec. 17 with a road game at Tarleton State. It will be the second meeting between the two teams. The TexAnns defeated the Dustdevils 79-67 in TAMIU's inaugural season in 2003-04.
