Final Stats

Texas A&M International University tied Incarnate Word 0-0 in Heartland Conference men's soccer action on Friday night in a game played in Boerne because of wet field conditions at UIW's home field on campus. The tie was TAMIU's first non-loss in the five game all-time series with UIW, which entered the game ranked sixth in the NSCAA/adidas Division II national poll.

TAMIU goalkeeper Noé Pantoja turned in another solid performance in the tie, recording eight saves. UIW (4-0-1, 3-0-1) out-shot the Dustdevils 9-4.

TAMIU (2-2-2, 0-1-2) returns to action with a conference game at St. Edward's on Sunday. Kickoff is scheduled for 4 p.m.
