West Texas A&M defeated Texas A&M International 3-0 in non-conference men's soccer action on Monday afternoon in Canyon. It was the first meeting between the two teams. Ben Everson scored two goals in the first 20 minutes to pace WTAMU (5-0) to a quick start. The Buffaloes out-shot the Dustdevils 20-3. TAMIU goalkeeper Noé Pantoja finished with 10 saves. TAMIU (2-2-1) returns to Heartland Conference action with games at Incarnate Word on Friday and St. Edward's on Sunday. |
