Luís Rincón enters his first season as an assistant soccer coach at Texas A&M International University. He begins his coaching career after concluding an outstanding two-year goalkeeping career for the Dustdevils. Rincón began his playing career at Warner University before transferring to TAMIU in 2008. He made a big impact in his two seasons as a Dustdevil, finishing with 12 career wins in goal and an outstanding 1.06 goals against average. Rincón earned Heartland Conference Defensive Player of the Week four times for the Dustdevils. He concluded his career by earning first-team All-Heartland Conference honors as a senior after tying for ninth in the NCAA final statistical rankings with a .857 save percentage. Prior to arriving in the United State, Rincón represented his native Columbia in several international youth tournaments. Rincón hold a bachelor's in business administration and a MBA, both from Texas A&M International University. |
