Texas A&M International University alumni Luis Rincón enters his second season as an assistant soccer coach. He is reunited with head coach Claudio Arias, after concluding an outstanding two-year goalkeeping career for the Dustdevils.

Rincón played two seasons at NAIA Warner University prior to attending TAMIU where he achieved different accomplishments such as M.V.P award and Florida Sun Conference Player of the week.

He made a big impact in his two seasons as a Dustdevil, finishing with 12 career wins in goal and an outstanding 1.06 goals against average.

Rincón earned Heartland Conference Defensive Player of the Week four times for the Dustdevils. He concluded his career by earning first-team All-Heartland Conference honors as a senior after tying for ninth in the NCAA final statistical rankings with a .857 save percentage.

Prior to arriving in the United State, Rincon played for Millonarios, a formal professional club and Colombian National Youth Team Player. Rincon also represent his country in different tournament such as: the Nike Premier Cup under 15 Latin America Chile 1999; Venezuela World Cup under 15 1999; Nike Premier Cup under 15 Latin America Mexico 2000; Venezuela World Cup under 15 2000 and South American tournament under 17 Ecuador 2002.

Rincón hold a bachelor's in business administration and a MBA, both from Texas A&M International University. He also holds a National Diploma license with the NSCAA.
