Abilene Christian shot team rounds of 298, 294 and 302 to secure first place team honors in the second Jack Brown Memorial Tournament with a total of 894 strokes. The event was held on Monday and Tuesday at the renowned Laredo Country Club.

ACU finished 20 strokes ahead of the second place team, Colorado School of Mines. TAMIU finished sixth in the team standings with a 972 (329, 323, 320).

ACU claimed the top three spots in the individual standings with medalist Morgan Johnson finishing first at 214 strokes (70-70-74). Senior Andres Maymí was TAMIU's top finisher, placing tied for seventh at 225 (75-73-77).

The Dustdevils will return to action next Monday and Tuesday at the Schreiner Invitational.
