Trey Austin

Trey Austin begins his second season as an assistant basketball coach at Texas A&M International University. He also serves as an assistant sports information director at TAMIU.

Austin played basketball at Westbury Christian High School in Houston, Texas. He helped lead his team to four state championships while earning four All-State honors and All-American Honorable mentions.

Austin went on to play collegiately at the University of Houston before transferring to the University of Northern Iowa. He played professional basketball as well in Iceland, Venezuela, and the American Basketball Association.
