Texas A&M International University's cross country teams participated in the NCAA Division II South Central Regional Championships on Saturday at Abilene Christian University. The men finished in 19th place in the team standings and the women placed 20th in the team standings. on Saturday at Abilene Christian University. After earning All-Conference honors at the Heartland Conference Championships two weeks ago, sophomore Marlene Gutíerrez turned in another outstanding effort in the women's 6K by finishing in 25th place at 23:00. Antonio González was the top Dustdevil finisher in the men's 8K, placing in 75th place at 34:28.
