The Texas A&M University Cross Country Invitational was cancelled on Saturday due to heavy rains and hazardous course conditions in Bryan. This is the second straight year that Texas A&M International University's cross country teams have missed the meet due to inclement weather. Last year's invitational was pushed back a week due to severe weather conditions stemming from Hurricane Ike.

TAMIU's cross country teams will return to action next Friday at the Ricardo Romo/Six Flags Fiesta Texas Classic. The evening meet will be hosted by UT-San Antonio.
