Texas A&M-Kingsville defeated Texas A&M International University in men's and women's cross country dual action on Saturday morning on the TAMIU campus. The Javelinas claimed three of the top four spots on the men's side and two of the top three spots on the women's side.

Luis Beltrán was the top Dustdevil finisher in the men's race, finishing third in the 5K with a 16:46 effort. Robert Coronado Jr. placed fifth with a 17:12 effort.

Marlene Gutíerrez finished second on the women's side with a 19:12 5K. Jenny Méndez finished fifth with a 22:29 effort.

Both cross country teams return to action next Saturday at the Texas A&M Invitational.
