Both of Texas A&M International University's cross country teams are picked to finish in the middle of the pack in the 2010 Heartland Conference Cross Country preseason poll. The men are picked to finish third and the women fourth in the poll conducted by the conference's head coaches and sports information directors.

The men finished in fifth place and the women in sixth place at last year's Heartland Conference Championships.
