Texas A&M International University's cross country teams competed at the Disney Cross Country Classic in Orlando, Fla. on Saturday.

The men's team turned in an outstanding performance, finishing 12th amongst 30 teams in the final team standings. Two runners finished in the top 40 of the 8K race with freshman Gedyon Kiflezgi placing 17th at 26:06 and sophomore Eddie González placing 39th at 26:44.

The cross country season will conclude next weekend when both teams compete in the Texas Lutheran Invitational in Seguin.
