Texas A&M International University's men's cross country team turned in a solid performance at the Texas State Invitational over the weekend, finishing second amongst a field of six teams.

The Dustdevils had two top-10 finishes and five top-20 finishes in a five mile race with 38 competitors. Freshman Gedyon Kiflezgi finished sixth at 27:15 while junior Eddie González finished eighth at 27:16.

The top finisher for the women's team was senior Jackie Equigua, who finished 52nd with a 25:33 effort in the three mile event.
