Texas A&M International University's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is sponsoring a raffle this semester to benefit Operation Homefront of Texas, a non-profit that assists enlisted military families in times of dire financial crisis. The TAMIU SAAC hopes to top the $2,149 raised in last year's raffle benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project.
The grand prize is a Las Vegas trip for two that includes two Allegiant Air round-trip tickets from Laredo and a three-night stay at Planet Hollywood. Second and third prizes are a $200 and $100 gift card from Academy Sports & Outdoors.
Raffle tickets are available for a $10 donation from SAAC officers as well as at the Athletics Department office during normal business hours. For more information e-mail or call Sports Information Director Dan Lathey at 326-2892.
The drawing will be held on Veterans Day, Nov. 11.
